We are excited to celebrate our amazing staff at LPS next week! Feel free to show your appreciation with cards, flowers, chocolate or a small gift!

Retirees, you're invited! We welcome any retired staff from Chastain Road Elementary or Liberty Primary School to join us for a cookout during Teacher Appreciation Week next week! We hope you can join us so we can celebrate you and the difference you made for our community in your years of service at CRE/LPS!

Every year, students in grades 3-8 take SCREADY tests. Although we are a primary school with students in grades PreK-2nd, our Montessori program houses some third graders at LPS who will participate in the SCREADY end of the year state testing. A schedule of testing days is included below.

We round out our celebration of Week of the Young Child with “Family Friday!” With Spring Break next week and looking ahead to a beautiful spring season, we encourage you to get outside and enjoy time with your family. Need some ideas of things to do or places to explore? Check out our staff suggestions for family outings – in Pickens County and beyond – at the link below! We hope our Wolfpack has a great Spring Break – we can’t wait to see you again on Monday, April 17!

We had a special visitor at LPS today!

It's National Assistant Principal Week and we are so blessed to have Mrs. Ellison as our assistant principal! She adds so much fun to our school! Did you know she was even a finalist for the 2023 South Carolina Assistant Principal of the Year!?! We are so proud to have her as a part of our PACK! Thank you for all you do, Mrs. Ellison!

We continued our celebration of Week of the Young Child with Artsy Tuesday! Classes “sidewalk chalked” the front entrance, and made their own masterpieces with bubble art, paint, paper, and clay! We love the creations they came up with! Look at these little artists!

As we celebrate Artsy Tuesday during Week of the Young Child, we want to recognize our amazing student artists at LPS. Congratulations to the following students for being selected for the Liberty Regional Art Show, held at the Liberty High School Fine Arts Wing at the end of March.
