We are extremely proud of our facility and we consider it to be one of the finest in the state. As proud as we are of our building, however, we realize that what goes on inside the walls is what counts. We strive for continued excellence in teaching and learning. Our teachers have been recognized on local, state, and national levels for their innovations and dedication. Our students rank amongst the top in the state. These points underline the passion for excellence with which our teachers and students approach teaching and learning on a daily basis.

Our school continues to grow and we grow with it. We currently serve over 770 students in pre-K through fifth grade. To provide relevant and appropriate programs and instruction, we offer self-contained classroom settings, team teaching settings, and departmentalized settings. Finding the best fit for our students and their learning styles is always important to us.

Our commitment to students and to our community extends beyond traditional school hours. Through our After School Care program, we provide fun and enriching opportunities to 300 children each school day from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. In addition to the convenience this offers parents, students receive homework assistance and have the chance to participate in a variety of activities that include art, music, technology, and physical activity. Our families love Clemson Elementary ASC and we love our families! Their contributions back to the school are countless.

Work done in the classroom is regularly supported by the numerous parent and community volunteers that serve us. All parents are encouraged to be active participants in our school. Whether it is through membership in our PTA, chairing a special event committee, chaperoning a field trip, being a part of our School Improvement Council, or working as a regularly scheduled classroom volunteer, there is an opportunity awaiting anyone interested and willing to serve.

The school colors are BLUE and ORANGE. The colors were chosen to represent both the town and the university in Clemson. From the blue roof to the library media center to the tiles set in the floors, our school was designed to reflect these colors.

Our school mascot is a tiger cub.
